Following the La Wang and H’aanit dual pickup, players using 12BET can now look ahead to another opportunity to strengthen their teams in Octopath Traveler Champions of the Continent. The upcoming Bravely Default collaboration will introduce four characters with abilities capable of significantly improving party performance. As the saying goes, limitations often begin in the mind, and each character’s true value will ultimately depend on how effectively players use them. Two characters will receive dedicated pickups, one will be distributed for free, and the acquisition method for the fourth has not yet been confirmed.

The first character is Agnes, whose class is Starseer. Her skill set can replace most of Millard’s essential functions, offering immediate healing for the entire party and continuous recovery for one ally. When maximum BP is spent, she can apply regeneration to the entire front row. She also increases physical defense by 15%, raises one ally’s speed by 15%, boosts the whole front row’s speed at maximum BP, and reduces an enemy’s elemental defense by 15%.

Her offensive abilities include two wind-element strikes against one target, two staff attacks against all enemies, and one light-element attack against a single target. When she takes damage, her passive has a chance to restore HP or reduce the attacker’s speed. At level ten, her ultimate increases the front row’s speed by 20% and grants automatic healing for three turns.

Agnes’s defining advantage is her ability to revive allies up to three times per battle, following the structure of Yapan’s existing revival mechanic. Should the BP restriction on her continuous healing eventually be removed, both Millard and Theo could naturally lose their regular places in many parties. That would give players much greater flexibility when arranging their frontline and support positions.

The second character is the sword fighter Edea. Her abilities include two-hit and three-hit physical sword attacks, a two-hit fire attack, an area-wide sword strike, and a powerful single-target sword attack that restores her own HP afterward. She can also unleash between two and five random light-element hits, with the total number depending on the BP invested.

Edea possesses another two-hit sword attack that raises her physical defense, along with a taunt skill that increases both physical and elemental defense. These tools allow her to serve effectively as a tank rather than only as a damage dealer. Combat evaluations available through 12BET show that her passive restores one BP with a 25% chance whenever she is attacked, while striking an enemy weakness increases her damage by 20%.

Her ultimate raises physical and elemental defense by 20% and grants a physical counterattack with 200 power for four turns. In practical terms, Edea is a light-element sword tank whose main strengths are taunting enemies and reinforcing her defenses. Players without Zekuto or La Wang may find her particularly valuable for protecting the rest of the party. She can also outperform Millard in encounters against enemies vulnerable to lightning or light-based attacks, giving her an advantage in specific content.

The third character is Adelle, a dagger-focused physical damage dealer. Her abilities include a two-hit dagger attack, a two-hit light-element attack, and a powerful dagger strike that ignores weaknesses while reducing the enemy’s shield count. She also has a single dagger attack with a moderate chance of applying a negative status effect, plus a three-hit dagger technique capable of lowering shields even when the enemy is not weak to daggers.

Adelle’s additional tools make her especially promising for PvE. She can evade one incoming attack, use an upgraded dagger skill that applies stronger negative effects, and deliver a guaranteed critical single-target dagger attack with 260 power when spending maximum BP. Her passives increase critical damage by 30% and raise damage against enemies suffering from negative effects by another 30%, creating strong internal synergy across her entire skill set.

At level ten, her ultimate is a guaranteed critical single-target attack with a listed power of 60. Unlike Viola, who is generally used as a support-oriented thief, Adelle has the potential to become a genuine primary physical attacker. Her ability to break shields without matching a weakness, guarantee an evasion, and deliver efficient consecutive attacks gives her strong investment value for anyone seeking more offensive power from the thief position.

For players managing recruitment resources through 12BET, skipping Adelle may still be sensible when the party already has enough reliable damage dealers. Saving for the later arrival of Therion could offer greater long-term value depending on the preferred combat style and existing roster. Even a mountain of valuable beads becomes useful only after they are threaded together, and recruitment resources are no different. They deliver the greatest benefit when spent on characters who genuinely complete the team a player wants to build.
